Subangi's Art Totes & Scarves

Subangi’s Totes & Scarves is a Sydney-based accessories retail business that delivers the original abstract paintings of local artist, Subangi Balendra, as wearable print-on-demand art. Subangi started exploring her creativity as a self-taught artist in 2016, and her accessories business was launched in August 2021 to make her art accessible as long-lasting wearable pieces.

At the heart of this business is Subangi’s desire to put more beauty into our daily lives in combination with her passion for sustainable living. While she enjoys creating one-off original artworks on canvas, she also wants to spread the joy that artistic expression brings to more people by allowing them to enjoy those artworks as accessories that they can carry with them as they go about their daily lives.

Subangi’s art is a true cross-cultural celebration. Her first collection, Bloom, ranges widely from very iconically Australian themes and symbols, to timeless and universal motifs related to the human experience and nature more broadly. As she continues to explore through her painting, Subangi will release more varieties of art totes and scarves to spread wonder and beauty for you to wear and enjoy.
